A compact version of Morocco's patchwork rug tradition. Boucherouite weaving began in the High Atlas in the 1950s, when Berber women turned worn clothing and leftover textile scraps into thick, colorful floor coverings — a resourceful response to the region's harsh winters that later became prized for its bold, improvised look.

This rug carries that same mixed-material construction: hand-knotted strips of recycled fabric, cotton, and wool, giving it a dense, textured pile and a scrappy, vibrant color palette where no two runs of the loom repeat. At this smaller size, it works well as an accent rug — beside a bed, in an entryway, or layered over a larger neutral rug. It's washable, unlike most all-wool Moroccan rugs.
